Need help choosing a new book?  Try one of these suggestions...


 
To browse for books that are definitely in the Seven Bridges Library, use:

*InfoCentre  (library catalog)
  • Use Quick Search or Advanced Search to find books.
  • Not sure what you want?  Try clicking on the Visual Search or Reading Lists  tabs (left side of the page).  You can browse through genres or series.
  • Found a title on InfoCentre but want to know more?  Click the title, then click "More Info" to read reviews, excerpts, character lists, etc.

   Learn everything about your favorite authors and books at this incredible site!  Author interviews, book guides, author name pronunciations, book readings, author websites, themed booklists and more.  Search by title, author or subject.




 
To keep track of books you read, and interact with other people about books try one of these social media sites (Note: you must be 13 years or older to register):

*Goodreads
   Get book recommendations from others, keep track of what you've read (or want to read), participate in a book group, answer book trivia, and more (the site may be blocked by our filter at school, but you can access from home).

   NOTE from Ms. Baker:  I love Goodreads!!  If you join too, you can "friend" me and see my reviews of all the books I read.  Just search for "Ms. Baker" and request to be my friend! 

Library Thing

Shelfari
   "Create a virtual shelf to show off your books, see what your friends are reading and discover new books - all for free!"
